To carry out clinical, nursing and administration duties in the consulting rooms and radiology suites. Participate and contribute to the direct delivery of excellence in quality service and patient care. Assist with effective organisation and running of the consultant based clinics and provide professional leadership and teaching to junior staff. Effectively liaise and co-operate with other Departments.

With other nurses in the group be prepared to provide services on other sites should clinical need arise.

Skills summary

Registered Nurse – minimum 3 years post registration with relevant out patient experience preferably at a senior level.

Teaching and Assessing ENB 998 or equivalent experience in radiological procedures. First line management course or equivalent. Hold a current certificate in competence in Venepuncture.
