UME Diagnostics provides a comprehensive cardiac imaging service that combines the latest technology with a team of expert radiologist and cardiologists.

Cardiac Imaging has evolved rapidly over the past few years. Using our advanced imaging techniques we can now detect anomalies, calcification, stenosis and other signs related to heart disease without the need for interventional and cumbersome procedures.

UME is one of a few organisations that are able to offer the full range of cardiac imaging studies together in one place.

CT:

  • Coronary CT angiogram for stenosis and plaque assessment.
  • Coronary calcium scoring for prognosis and risk satisfaction.
  • Bypass grafts evaluation following surgery.
  • Coronary stent patency assessment.
  • Left ventricle and right ventricle function assessment.
  • Heart failure etiology assessment.
  • Left ventricular hypertrophy quantification (cardiomyopathy, hypertension).
  • Pre and post operative assessment of some cases of congenital heart disease like atrial septal defects, fallot tetralogy.
  • Cardiac masses assessment.
  • Pulmonary vein assessment prior to Atrial node ablation in fibrillation.
  • Constructive pericarditis.
  • Pulmonary embolism.

MRI:

  • Left ventricle and right ventricle function assessment.
  • Perfusion studies for assessment of coronary artery disease.
  • Myocardial viability studies after myocardial infraction.
  • Left ventricle hypertrophy quantification (cardiomyopathy, hypertension).
  • Pre and post operative assessment of some cases of congenital heart disease like atrial septal defects, fallot tetralogy and shunt quantification.
  • Diagnosis of arrythmogenic right ventricle cardiomyopathy.
  • Diagnosis of infilrative heart disease.
  • Constrictive pericarditis.
  • Cardiac masses assessment.
  • Valvular disease assessment (aortic and pulmonary valves).

Ultrasound:

  • Doppler studies.

Nuclear Medicine:

  • Coronary artery disease.
  • Monitor bypass surgery.
  • Prognosis of future coronary events.
  • Assess cardiac toxicity (MUGA).
