The Open MRI equipment at Hendon Diagnostic Centre offers an imaging experience ideally suited to all patients but particularly for those who may suffer from anxiety or claustrophobia. Larger and frail patients together with children may also benefit from an open MRI scan as there are no enclosed tunnels to pass through and patients can comfortably see their surroundings while the scan is in progress unlike conventional scanning techniques. Our senior professional staff are chosen for their caring and understanding nature which will make the scanning experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

The centre is situated outside of the London congestion charging zone and ample free parking is available, on site, with easy access for non ambulant patients by means of a fixed ramp.

Directions:
By Car: Leave Junction 1 of the M1 and take the A406 Eastbound. Leave the A406 at the next junction, taking the A41 Northbound. Pass the next traffic lights where Hendon Central Underground Station is situated on the right hand side. After the next traffic lights, stay in the left lane and follow the sign to Colindale (A5150) onto Colindeep Lane. Wide Open MRI of North London is situated approximately 500 yards on the right hand side. Free parking is available in the designated 'MedTel' areas.

By London Underground: The nearest London Underground station is Hendon Central which is on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line.
